How to cure ear congestion?
I’ve had the flu for about 4 days now. Yesterday, I noticed my ears were slightly blocked, and I heard higher sounding notes in 2 different ptiches. I could hear voices and low notes just fine. Now… Today it seems it has gotten worst. My ears are clogged, and everything sounds muffled. I’ve tried yawning, peroxide, chewing, closing my nose and putting pressure to pop the ears, Dayquil, Halls, Benadryl, and they’ve all failed to relieve my ears. I’m not going to even dare try ear candles. I do not think it’s an ear infection, seeing that there is no pain. However, there is someone in the house with an ear infection, but I don’t think I have it.
It’s starting to bug me, and I think it will keep getting worst by tomorrow if I don’t do anything about it.
Is there any remedies out there that you guys know that will help me with my Ear congestion?
I second acupuncture. I’ve had ear infections on and off my whole life and have become immune to most antibiotics, so turned to acupuncture to help me get over the flu and ear infections and all that. But not everyone can afford it or has a skilled acupuncturist near them (mine moved away so I’m back to the old struggle again 
). Another thing to try if you can get your hands on it is UNpasteurized, raw milk. It has antibodies in it which really help to boost your immune system and is the best thing for ear problems. You can even put a few drops of this stuff, warmed, directly into your ear. When the milk is pasteurized it kills off these antibodies and some other things so milk from a chain store is no good. This stuff can be pretty hard to find though. Some have reported a drop of tea tree oil works but as my eardrum has a hole in it I’ve never tried this one.
