What is the best way to get rid of water in the ears?
I was doing laps in the pool earlier. When I did the back stroke, I felt water enter my ears as I lifted my head out of the water. The left ear cleared almost immediately, but until now (7 hours later), I still feel as if I have water in the right ear. I tried cleaning the ear with a cotton swab, “wicking” the water out with some tissue, and shaking my head right ear down. Nothing worked!!! Help, it’s really irritating….!
I’m not sure if this will work with you, but it usually works for me…
Try stepping off something that is a few centimetres above the ground with the watery ear facing the floor, do it a couple of times.
