Does peroxide on ear wax help clean it out?
I think I may have a wax-build up that is making it hard to hear, and I heard that if you use peroxide, it can help loosen it to be removed. If i do this, what should I do? Should I take a capful and slowly insert the peroxide into my ear? Or put some on a wash cloth and do it that way? Can it be harmful at all? And does it work well?
Never heard of using peroxide to clean out ears..It is not recommend in the medical world. I would suggest getting mineral oil…its very cheap and you can buy it at the local drug store. Put about there drops in each ear at bed time and a cotton ball in the ears for 3-5 nights depending on how deep and how much ear wax that you have. Then go visit your doctor and they or there nurse will flush out your ears…Painful and quick.
